About the Design
This is a rendering of an actual Dr. Nut neon sign! Dr. Nut was manufactured by the World Bottling Company in New Orleans on Elysian Fields Avenue from the 1940's to early in 1951. It found its real claim to fame as the favorite drink of Ignatius Reilley in Toole's Confederacy of Dunces novel. You can get this graphic on a t shirt, comforter, shower curtain, throw pillow and more.
