Life imitates art, art imitates life. I saw this design inside a piece of wood. It was a very clear eyeball with a broken heart where the iris should be. I tried to reproduce that image here because the idea of looking at the world through the filter of a broken heart is profound and the very opposite of rose colored glasses.
